Which quality should I pick?
The top row is the best the site has. Pick 720p or 480p if you want a smaller file for a phone: the sizes are shown before you save.
Why does a size say “about”?
Some sites send video as a stream of short pieces rather than one file. We join those into a single MP4 while it downloads, so the exact size is only known at the end.
Where does the file go on an iPhone?
Safari asks where to put it, then saves to Files › Downloads. From there, Share › Save Video puts it in Photos.
Is the video stored on your server?
No. When you press Save, the server fetches the video from the site and passes it straight to you. No video is written to disk, and nothing records who saved what.
Why won’t a link work?
Private, removed, paid and region-blocked videos can’t be read. If a print is more than an hour old, read the link again: the sites’ own links expire.
Can I save several videos at once?
Two at a time. Start the next when one finishes.
Is it legal?
Saving a copy for yourself is treated differently from country to country. Only save videos you have the right to keep, and never share them on. You must be 18 or older to use this site.
